2011 Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Items

These are the items I found and bought over the year to put in my OCC Christmas boxes. Be sure to check out my last year’s finds here.

AC Moore Craft Store’s dollar bins   Hair band – $1.00,   Counted cross stitch kit – $1.00,  Beanie Bear – $4.00, Engraving Art – $1.00, Color Pencil Art kit – $1.00, Puzzle – $1.00

Michael’s Craft Store Dollar Bins   Hello Kitty Coloring/Activity book – $1.00, Magic Paint Posters – $1.00,  travel sewing kit – $1.00, 3D puzzle – 50 cents, paddle ball kit – $1.00,  Color-A-Mug – $1.00, Jigsaw Puzzle – $1.00


Wal-Mart  Mega Candy bag (180 pieces) -$9.00, LED Soccer game – $1.00, baby doll – $5.00, bandana – $1.00, yo-yo – $1.00


Party City   Sidewalk chalk – 50 cents, Slinky dog – $1.00 each,  Maze puzzles – 25 cents each, finger soccer – $1.00, Wooly Willy – $1.00 each,  bulk diecast cars, mini card games (I won’t be getting these next year..too cheap) magnetic board games.


Target Dollar Bin and Travel Size Bins   Domino/Card games – $1.00,  Travel Toothbrush and toothpaste – $1.00,  Activity/Coloring book – $1.00, Sticker book – $1.00,  Package of combs, barrettes – $1.00, socks – $1.00


Oriental Trading Company  Jump ropes, small stuffed/bean animals, bulk pencil sharpeners, bulk erasers, spinning top, soccer handballs, 5 inch ruler (too think, won’t be getting again), bracelets, bulk pencils, notepads, whistles.


Candy – Don’t forget to double bag!  Valentine’s Day and Halloween after sales are a great time to shop for candy.  Some suggestions:  Nerds, Sour Patch Candies, Sweetarts, Lemonhead, Dubble Bubble gum, Jawbreakers, Bazooka bubble gum lollipops, Swedish fish, Ring Pops, Air Heads, Laffy Taffy, Starburst, hard candy, hard peppermints, Jolly ranchers, Twizlers,  Tootsie Pops, Tootsie Rolls, chewing gum, Spree candy, Mary Janes, Bit-o-Honey.

All boxed up and ready to go!
