Connie’s Sausage Balls

by admin on March 21, 2011

Connie served these at a homegroup party and they were so crispy, spicy and tasty that I had to get the recipe.

2 lbs. tube sausage – I used both spicy this time
1 lb. shredded cheddar
3 cups Jiffy mix (the recipe says Bisquick)
1 onion, diced
2 stalks celery, diced
1/2 green pepper, diced (just had it leftover so I threw it in.)

Mix well and form into little balls about 1 inch in diameter.

Bake on cookie sheets for 15 minutes or so at 350 degrees, turning occasionally.

Dump out onto a paper grocery bag to drain grease.
